Born and raised in South Korea, I came to Kansas in 1993 to attend Saint Paul School of Theology. My spouse Inshin and I had our first child, Michael, at the time, and our younger son John was born in 1996. In 1997, we were appointed to Howard and Severy churches, upon graduation and ordination. After five years there, I was sent to Topeka First, Bashor, Berryton churches, and was appointed to serve as DS for Parsons district in 2012. In 2017, I took an appointment to Pleasant Valley UMC in Wichita and served there for four years. In 2021, I moved to Concordia and served the First and the Trinity churches for two years. I came to Salem in 2023. Now, Inshin and I are grandparents of Irene and Jonah.
